Islands is a World War 2 Pacific strategy game where players deploy marines, ships, and airplanes, including aircraft carriers, torpedo bombers, and submarines. Players must capture the opposing home port, while defending their own, and control the seas and air by landing marines to control strategic islands. Combat matchups are key to winning individual battles during play. Islands is a great introduction to military strategy used in the Pacific Theater of World War 2.
